This place lives up to the hype! I ordered the spicy Caesar and the pep, the salad was good but the pizza was outstanding! We sat in the outside patio and it was a very nice ambiance. Server was very attentive and the food came out very quickly despite how busy they were.
Recent reviews have not changed a thing. Giant beans always delish. 3 white pizzas to choose from, our was rabe set off by a squeeze of lemon. Thin scorched crusts. Great wine list. All served impeccably on a comfortable back patio. Remains the best in Berkeley.
Edit went there for a birthday dinner and it was even better than last time. Get the She Wolf, Tangerines and Burrata, and fancy anchovies. Their Slovenian White wine was wonderful too! They even gave us a free chocolate pudding. ...
